Stand Up Comedy

I am currently, in the last two days, into standup comedy. I have watched Kevin Hart and Joe Rogan so far and we are just about to watch a female named Iliza Shlesinger. It is a great start to my spring break. I laughed so hard last night that my stomach muscles hurt today. I guess that is not saying a whole lot because I guess you can tell that I do not excerise my core very often.

I forgot that I like stand up comedy. When my husband and I were in college, he worked at The Second City. We would go there often and watch up and coming comedians. The servers overserved us. We were minors. It was a lot of fun. We saw Steven Carell, Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Ian Gomez, and Nia Vardalos. They were the regular crew at that time. I have to say that my ultimate favorite is a toss up. Of course, I love Steven Carell because of the The Office but I also love Nia Vardalos because of My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Those were the days but it has been fun watching Netflix comedy the last couple of nights. Some good belly laughs and nostaligia. It does a body good!
